Product Description
This coffee is part of our Orange Bourbon Project with Finca Majahual, where we partnered with producer Patrick Murray to explore four post-harvest processes using a single Orange Bourbon lot.
This washed process highlights the purest expression of the varietal. Grown between 1,500 and 1,800 meters in the Los Naranjos Valley, the coffee is harvested at peak ripeness, meticulously sorted, and fully washed. It is currently processed and dried at Sicafe while the farm prepares to build its own wet mill. The result is crisp and transparent, with notes of Earl Grey, red apple, and blood orange.
This lot reflects the farm’s dedication to clarity, consistency, and social responsibility. By working closely with Patrick Murray, we’ve seen how careful processing and respect for the land come together to create exceptional coffee. The Orange Bourbon Washed is a testament to the belief that coffee, at its best, is both craft and community, something to be shared, celebrated, and continually refined. It stands as one of the clearest expressions of terroir from Finca Majahual and embodies the shared pursuit of quality that defines this collaboration.
