About Juliet Estate AA Filter Coffee

We have been working with the Juliet Estate since 2013, purchasing the entire production. This small estate consists of 5 one-acre plots of coffee plants, which are milled directly at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Muriuki. In close collaboration with the Muriukis, we have worked on the farm management together to increase quality and develop the farms into producing only SL 34. Most farmers in Kenya have replaced their SL 28 and SL 34 with higher-yielding, disease and drought-resistant varieties, such as Batian and Ruiru 11. Over the past few years, the Muriukis have slowly been replacing their Batian and Ruiru 11 with SL 34.

This year's very small release of the AA bursts with the irresistible allure of a perfectly brewed cup, unveiling a delightful symphony of crimson fruits and enchanting floral notes. The journey culminates in a delectable crescendo, leaving behind a velvety smoothness that caresses the palate with a pleasingly buttery mouthfeel.
