Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF) is a farm located in the Mococa region of Brazil and owned by Silvia Barretto and her husband Marcos Croce, who along with their son Felipe, manage the farm. This farm is a model of progressive passive and active organic coffee farming borrowing techniques from Rudolf Steiner’s Biodynamic methods, among others. FAF highlights the possibilities to grow environmentally conscious coffee in harmony with nature and has become a model for the larger FAF community of producers and producers worldwide. To say that we are proud to roast this coffee is an understatement.
