Water is the main component of brewed coffee and its quality is essential to the coffee flavor. Peak Water is the perfect alternative to bottled water or expensive water filtration systems.

TDS is short for Total Dissolved Solids, meaning how much of the water is made up of minerals and solids. TDS concentrations are reported in parts per million (ppm). In Berlin, tap water is very hard, with TDS ranging from 400 to 500 ppm.

Peak Water Precision Filter lowers the overall TDS to a lesser degree maintaining a significantly longer life and the number of liters filtered. The pack contains 2 filters, each one good for two months of filtration*.

* Please note that this is a niche product to be used as a bottled water substitute specifically for brewing coffee. It is not intended to be a replacement for filtered drinking water. On average, expect around 25L (based on Berlin water hardness) per filter cartridge.
